Learn how to create an update without jumping into the messaging channel. If you just want to update a customer or add something to the timeline of the project you work on, follow these easy steps.


Step 1: Access the Project Update Section

Navigate to the project update section to add a new update.

  • Log in to your BuilderComs account and go to the specific project you want to update.

  • Look for the "Create Update" button near the timeline section.

    

Step 2: Create a Project Update

Here, you can add information and media to the update.

  • Click on the "Create Update" button and input a description of the update. 

  • You can also upload pictures to provide visual context. 

  • Once done, click on the 'Create Update' button to save your changes.


Step 3: Share the Update

Here, you will get to see where the update will appear and who can access it.

  • The update will be visible on the project timeline for all team members associated with the project, as well as the homeowner. 

  • It will not show up in the messaging channel, ensuring clear communication.
